We support 132 game developers in Germany in setting up their own games studios with the educational and networking programme of the Games Founding Grant.

The ‘Press Start: Games Founding Grant’ supports creative minds in the games sector in establishing their own games studios in Germany. The grant is organised and implemented by game – Association of the German Games Industry in cooperation with the Foundation for Digital Games Culture. The grant is funded by the State Minister for Culture and the Media.

The Foundation for Digital Games Culture supports the people selected for the grant with an educational and networking programme to help them put down entrepreneurial roots. The aim of the programme is to decisively strengthen the creative minds in the sustainable implementation of their ideas.
